Gartner recognizes CollabNet for its ability to execute and completeness of vision

SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif., Feb. 25, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- CollabNet, a leader in cloud-based Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) solutions for agile software delivery at scale, today announced it has been positioned in the "Leaders" Quadrant of the 2013 "Magic Quadrant for Application Development Life Cycle Management" (ADLM) report* by Gartner, Inc. The 2013 Magic Quadrant (MQ) report represents a snapshot of the ADLM market and evaluates 16 ADLM vendors in order to help application development and IT managers select appropriate technology partners that drive quality and productivity.

"We believe Gartner has positioned CollabNet as a leader in the ADLM market Magic Quadrant because of our large and growing customer base, proven scalability and ability to help customers embrace open source tools with enterprise governance," said Bill Portelli, CEO of CollabNet. "Our customers are increasing software delivery speed by organizing development into a cohesive system, allowing developers to use the tools they want and providing managers with the visibility, traceability and governance they need to deploy software that drives strategic value and competitive differentiation."

CollabNet's TeamForge® ALM platform helps IT organizations speed the delivery of quality software. It allows individuals to use the tools they want within a platform that is centrally managed and easily scales to thousands of users.

"We feel that our position as a "Leader" in the Gartner ADLM Magic Quadrant is a reflection of how our customers are advancing software delivery in the enterprise," said Portelli. "With TeamForge they have an open platform for managing constant change, and embracing new practices like Agile and DevOps in a non-prescriptive, yet orderly fashion."
